LIBRA Metal Resilient Bar 3.0M RB/30

Resilient Bar sections are designed to obtain the optimum acoustic performance when constructing conventional ceilings under timber joists. Resilient bar can also be used in conjunction with Stud & Track in wall systems to optimise the acoustic performance of internal walls. 

Care should be taken to ensure that the Resilient Bar is only fixed to the joists through the pre drilled holes in the lip. Fixings used to attach plasterboard to the Resilient Bar should not touch the ceiling joists as this will enable sound escape and reduce acoustic performance. Libra resilient Bar has been tested to carry up to two layers of 15mm plasterboard.
