The Spax T-Star Wirox flooring screw is a specialized fixing for securing chipboard, OSB, and other flooring panels to timber substructures. Its main feature is a dual or "fixing" thread below the head which pulls the board tightly to the joist thus minimizing the creaking often associated with wooden floors. The T-Star Plus (Torx) head offers superior torque transfer and prevents cam-out. Additionally, the Wirox coating provides high corrosion resistance whilst the 4CUT point eliminates the need for pre-drilling and reduces wood splitting hence ensuring a secure and quiet installation.
