The Union StrongBolt is a high-security mortice sash lock for timber doors up to 54mm thick. This lock features a latch operated by a handle (not included) and a 14mm deadbolt that is locked and unlocked by a Euro profile cylinder (sold separately). Its chamfered bolt design and hardened steel pins offer superior resistance against drilling, sawing, and side-load attacks. The reversible latch uses "SwitchLatch" technology for tool-free handing. It's suitable for fire doors rated up to 60 minutes and is designed to easily retrofit into many existing UK mortise cutouts, reducing the need for new carpentry. Stainless Steel finish.
