How to prepare your garden for winter

This week we've noticed the weather has started to get colder and with Christmas just around the corner that means winter is on its way too!

If you managed to spend some time outside in the garden this summer you might have some fences, sheds or garden furniture that are starting to look a little worse for wear. Fences and sheds are an important, and often not cheap, part of any garden. If you've splashed out and invested in some good quality fence panels or a sturdy garden shed it's important to take care of them.

Start by clearing away any weeds that have set up camp near your fence or plants which are climbing up the shed. These can cause irreparable damage and might mean that the panel needs replacing.
